Clearly, there’s a need to distinguish between the role of friends as bystanders in bullying conditions and peers as potential leaders or implementers of intervention programs. This can be particularly related when contemplating the broader set of youth violence prevention programs, which have not often been evaluated to determine the impacts of these interventions on bullying specifically.
