I make a lot of Persian stews, which nearly all the time have saffron. What I would recommend is to grind up your saffron into a powder and in each stew take approximately 1/8 tsp. of the saffron and add 2 Tbsp. of sizzling water, Badass version vintage happy camper all over printed rugcombine and add to the stew. It will immerse the flavor throughout and make your saffron last longer. Also refrigerate your saffron. Did you by any likelihood use chickpeas from a bag?
