Tapping into a huge audience base with a similar uncomplicated, simple taste has been a producers dream. David Bowie I’m happy hope you’re happy too. The reason why this show is popular is that it appeals to teens and people who like to talk about other people’s lives. There are plenty of them out there. High ratings don’t mean it’s a good show. If they need to find dross like this, in order to feel a deep connection, then there’s obviously something missing in their own personal lives! I feel it’s superficial. But then I feel the same way about the Kardashians. Both have an audience. Why? I really don’t know.
