I have absolutely no contact with Amazon, but if Jeff Bezos earned his money honestly, I have no say in the matter. The discussion we need to have is how can we sustain viable, livable communities in the the Big Box/Amazon era Yet how many rich people truly hoard their money? I bet most of them put it in banks (for others to borrow), invest it, use it to create businesses (which create jobs) and/or perform good works.
Congress wrote the tax laws. Bezos just takes advantage of what Congress wrote. So blame Congress for Bezos paying no taxes. the one thing missing in this article I am surprised wasn’t included is Jeff Bezos’ salary and total annual benefits, its far lower than many of his biggest critics in DC.
