By October 1974, AC / DC had recorded their first album titled High Voltage. The album was released exclusively in Australia on February 17, 1975, taking only 10 days for the Young brothers to compose based on the melodramatic songs performed by Scott. Over the course of a few months, the band’s roster was taking shape with Scott, the Young Brothers, bassist Mark Evans and drummer Phil Rudd.
The following year, the group released a single “It’s a Long Way to the Top” to serve a popular promotional video for the TV show Countdown, featuring the band on the back of a flattened truck. . AC / DC released their 2nd album titled T.N.T. on December 1, 1975 and it was only available in Australia and New Zealand.
