I am so angry at this situation that destroyed so many lives. The minute the weather turned, vests should have been on everyone. It might not have saved everyone but they might have had a fighting chance. I’m trying to figure out why someone wasn’t trying to kick out the windows before the boat went under water so that everyone would have had a chance to survive. So sad and preventable.
Totally agree why would the canopy be there? It makes it seem like with the canopy there is no escape if the boat sinks or if it rolls over….this is horrible, I’m the mother of an autistic child. One thing I know is that child should automatically had a life jacket. I’m heartbroken for this woman. My heart is just crushed for all of the families involved. So sad.
