Wendy Shull: Thank you for assuming, I was clueless. Nope. My parents both served 30+ years in the Army with countless tours, deployment, and relocations to other countries. I come from a long line of military officers. My son will be attending Fork Union and hopefully, continue to follow our families footprint and head to the Citadel or West Point.

Tell you what, I will change my profile so that you can see what a real AK looks like. We all have a big responsibility to make this world a better place, and children are the future. I have always heard it takes a village, and it does. However, I think parts of our “village” are sick and we are in need of an intervention. Teach children/people to share, care and love. All races have something to contribute to this world. My grandson is 4 years old. He has beautiful brown skin that comes from his Hispanic father. He told me, “I don’t want to be too brown cause people will be mean to me.” I say no more.
