Our current president lied about trying to decrease national debt while in reality gave tax cuts to big businesses and increasing the debt. No one that had supported him bats an eye. He’s nothing but a typical anti common sense, tax crazy liberal control freak. Voting Trump 2020 for sure. Unfortunately for all of us commenters what will probably end up happening is this idea will get support (if it gets support), Wall Street flex its influence to push off the responsibility of paying onto institutions or the fed via taxes. Then we are just in the same place we are now but with higher taxes and free education. As broken as the government is I don’t trust them to do anything as auspicious as this without bungling it severely and leaving the taxpayer holding the bag.
