Golf does not require a standardized playing area, unlike most other ball games. The game is played on a course that is arranged in a predetermined cycle of 09 or 18 holes (or holes). Each hole on the court is accompanied by a teeing ground, and a putting green includes a golf hole (10.79 cm wide). In between the two areas above are other standard terrain types such as the fairway (the area between the tee box and putting green), rough (long grass), sand pit, and obstacles (water, rocks, brush). There are two main types of golf competitions. In stroke play the golfer tries to get the lowest number of strokes; Also in an individual match play or team that tries to win more holes than the opponent. Stroke play is the most common mode.
